Anubis is a cinematic progressive rock band from Sydney, Australia. The band has gained a keen following worldwide since the release of their critically acclaimed debut LP '230503'. The album featured in year-end top 10 lists for a number of online and print progressive rock media - proggies.ch memorably stated "...albums like this make you believe in the future of prog-rock." Their second album ‘A Tower of Silence’ continues to display Anubis' music as dynamic, varied and cinematic in scope. Their single minded artistic vision has resonated with audiences, particularly overseas, where ‘A Tower of Silence’ topped the sales chart of German distributor Just For Kicks. The band have shared the stage with a number of notable acts and toured with InsideOut Music favourites Unitopia in 2011. -
